Can anyone tell me what's wrong with my tomato plant?
Comments (2)Unfortunately I think you're right, everything I've searched for so far points to herbicide damage. It's completely my own fault too I think. I thought I was careful and and was avoiding drift. Thanks for the sites though they're really helpful. I still can't figure out if my plants are salvageable or if I should tear them out and plant new. I don't want to keep growing them if they've been permanently damaged or unsafe to consume....See MoreCan anyone tell me what st augustine grass cultivar I have?
Comments (3)If you take those sprigs to three different local grass merchants you might get 3 different answers. ...or not. That's what I'd do. Out of curiosity, does it make a difference to you? I would suggest it is not Floratam. Floratam usually has purpleish stolons....See MoreCan someone tell me if I have suckers?
Comments (2)Yes, that is a sucker, good eye! Definitely remove the suckers so it's not drawing energy from the mama plant. I've actually potted suckers and grown new plants so that's an option if you get the sucker out relatively intact....See MoreCan anyone tell me what's wrong with my rubber tree?
Comments (4)It’s normal to lose some of the lower leaves - they age out, or they get shaded out and the plant sheds them as they no longer do enough photosynthesis. Usually the rate of loss is less than the rate of replacement by new leaves but it sounds like you’re losing more than that. Maybe watering every three weeks is not enough, you may be stressing your plant too much. Of course it depends on the plant the soil the season the pot size etc etc, but my one dries down in 7-10 days and then I water it thoroughly and drain it well. Then wait again to dry down, as judged by the weight of the pot and/or whether a skewer inserted down to the bottom shows moisture. Read up on soils and watering on this forum, I think that’ll help. Don’t think it’s a disease. Could be rootbound though, looks a small pot for its size. Which will make it go through water faster too. I agree give it bright light....See MoreKim
