Are there really only THREE low divide, 60/40 double sinks out there?

What am I missing? Low divide sink
Comments (10)I just ordered from MR Direct International over the phone. I called them b/c a sink I had wanted to order was no longer on the website. I spoke with Jackie and she was great. She answered all my questions and was very helpful. The sink I wanted wasn't on the website b/c it is out of stock. I was still able to order it through her and it will be shipped as soon as it comes in. I also ordered my prep sink through them. I placed the order Monday evening and my prep sink arrived this afternoon. It looks great - I also ordered the grid and the sink strainer. It came with the cut-out template and the clips for undermount installation. I am looking forward to seeing my main sink. My cabinet installation is about 3 weeks out. I will report back regarding the installation once it is done....See MoreReplacing 60/40 2-bowl sink with a Single Bowl Sink
Comments (38)The faucet and dispenser holes are filled with scraps from the cut-out. This is a job I did last week; removing a failed polyester bowl from a polyester solid surface top and replacing it with a stainless steel sink. No countertops were removed in the process. It isn't that much different with stone, the trick is making sure the footprint of the replacement is identical to or larger than that of the original. I've had budget-conscious clients that didn't care that the negative reveals were off on their replacement sinks in stone. Sink, faucet, soap dispenser, and disposal replacement, plumbing, top refinish and cleanup (ooo..it's messy) just over 3K. That's a Mirabelle sink made in Vietnam. Nice....See MoreRecommend drilling locations for a 60/40 sink
Comments (6)Ooh, that's a tough one. I have a 36" 60/40 Kraus sink, centered on a window. My garbage disposal is in the smaller bowl, and I went with a Kraus pre-rinse faucet so that I could center the faucet on the window and keep the sprayer on the GD side with the pot filler over the large bowl. I'm not sure how I would do it n your case. Will you have a garbage disposal in the smaller bowl? I find I use that side of mine most often. If you center the faucet over the entire width of the sink, does it have enough reach to be used in both bowls without having to pull out the sprayer? Will you install it with the facet handle to the front, or on the right? I'm sorry for asking so many questions! I know I was nervous about drilling into my new counter, so I want to make sure you get it the way that will work best for you :)...See More60/40 sink - Tap placement not in the middle of the sink
Comments (7)"They do take a long time to fill." Sorry to go OT, but I had to respond to that, though I do NOT want to get into a bowl debate. I've had single bowl sinks for the last 14 years, and I don't think I've ever filled it. Not once. First, because I have a dishwasher. Second, because for hand washing pots and pans, I fill the pots and pans themselves to let them soak, not the entire sink. If you can't lay your pan flat, because of a divider, then you would have to fill the sink to cover the tilted pan. Third, for other things I need to hand wash, like my mother's silverware, I would fill the sink a few inches, that's all. As to the topic of centering the faucet, I think it really depends on your setup whether it will bother you or not, so it's hard for us to advise you. Doing the mock up is the best solution....See MorePink Poppy
