sewing like crazy today
Comments (7)Grace  IÂm so sorry to hear that your mom is still not well. I hope that you do get some answers soon and I hope it is good news. I will be thinking of you. If you are sewing at all like you did on the retreat, I do believe that you are sewing like crazy. I had never seen someone get so much done with all the distractions going on at the same time. Grace, the sewing wonder-woman. (((hugs))) Nina...See MoreDoes anyone else feel like 'tea' today? :)
Comments (21)I know the feeling, Shades- I'm enjoying an adult beverage right now. One of the first things I planted at our new place was 2 daffodils. That's right- two. The little church I visit up there had a sermon which related to daffodil bulbs, so each person got one in a little kit with fertilizer and instructions. I wasn't going to take one, but the cutest little boy ran up and was SO excited to give me one! Then folks I insisted I take two; one for me and one for my wife. In the spirit (pun intended) of the thing I felt obligated to plant them. We visited in February, and they were up and had buds. Alas, we weren't there for the actual flowers, but I was still excited. Two down; about 500 to go. I want to naturalize them all over the place....See MoreLiked these today.......
Comments (7)Wow...where do I begin?? First, I am glad you showcased the little Neat Petite...which I noticed with the DQ photo you posted in my thread and was going to ask about. What a pretty hosta with a very nice solid green colour. Rainforest Sunrise really has the most perfect-sized leaves for its size! I have 5 June's (all from one plant) and all but one is in full sun. Love the bright colour! However, a June in shade, or bright shade, will take anyone's breath away. I haven't seen a more lovely form of Antioch anywhere and I have two. Well done, Mbug - that is one beautiful specimen. I sometimes wonder why it isn't in more gardens. The leaf shape, size, texture, and form is quite beautiful - a Montana by any other name? I noticed that some of the leaves on yours are getting wider margins - in 'Ice Follies' fashion :-). I had two prominent leaves like that last year - am hoping for more this year. Interesting and lovely textures in that last shot! Thank you for sharing! :-)...See MoreHelp! Need to choose kitchen cabinets ASAP (like today)

We can appreciate and respect the goal of this not becoming a place where posts are used to sell, but hopefully we will be allowed to respond in a helpful way. The image below shows our original response, which we did not remove.
