What would you do? Beach house needs new paint, landscape, etc...
Comments (5)http://www.spray-onvinyl.com/ We have an old farm house that was built in 1897 that we considered using a spray on vinyl for. Our elements are not as harsh as a beach enviromant, with wind, sand and salt. We ended up having to replace all the siding with hardie plank and painted it, rather than pre-finished color. There are other companies besides this one, but it is something to look into to protect all that siding. Good Luck...See MoreNew house needs new cool color!
Comments (4)Is the horizontal siding cedar and has it already been stained those colors? If that's the case then I think you're probably stuck with using an opaque stain or paint on it. If it was all stained the same color as the front door I think it would work. With it being so many different colors I think it tends to detract from the overall look of the front of the house. I know the designer intended this to be an accent, but to me it looks more like an accident. I would probably look at doing a single color, darker gray stain/paint that is in the middle between the black trim and the gray body of the house. I like the stone. I think it anchors the house. Comments (3)moving to a new home, pictures are from listing so all furniture and decor will be removed. Im currenty feeling like I want one color throughout all these living spaces that open up to each other... leaning toward warm white, greige or any other suggestions... Trim: looking for opinions on whether to leave medium brown trim throughout the house, windows and dining built in as is or should I paint to white? darken it? house is an 1890s built farmhouse, love the Pinterest boards of white trim and brighter farmhouse looks, shiplap etc but not sure if I should take on changing all the trim or trying to make it work... if it was just a little darker I think I wouldn’t mind it as much but its kind of a blah medium brown.......See MoreNew house, need help for windows blinds or curtains
Comments (7)I would use woven wood roman shades, mounted above the windows. You can raise them up to get maximum sun when you want it, but close it for privacy or light control, and there are many different options for the amount of sunlight they let through....See MoreBrady
