Your half could be mailed immediately or after October 15. Also on my available plants list are Northern Sea Oats, Variegated Solomon's seal and a few staples from my gardening cabinet (Osmocote, SoilMoist, TakeRoot and a soil testing kit). It wouldn't turn me off as I love old houses. In fact anything I like has to be at least 90 years old. LOL. But I would factor in the cost of fixing (not replacing the steam heat) and the septic when giving a bid (Steam heat when it works is great.)

Hi! Soupgirl here. I just saw this thread and was eager to see the results of your experiment. To make sure I understand this, if 2 people flag the same post with an "I don't like it," the post goes away? If you are the only person to flag the post with an "I don't like it," the post remains invisible from your view only, correct? My head was taken off by Artemis today when I said I was using this flag with respect to Carro's posts and perhaps Artemis was right to take my head off because of the potential for mischief using the "i don't like it" flag. What would prevent two people from having an agreement to flag every post of a certain poster? It would certainly disrupt the forum and because of that, I am surprised Houzz has a flag that works in this fashion. I am going to check all of the Carro posts that I flagged to see if they are still there. If they are still there then that means I was the only person to flag them and if they are gone, that means someone else also flagged them. I will let you know what I find out. Thanks.

It’s nice to know that the posts haven’t been deleted - but it is much more difficult. I’ve found it more difficult to find posts about a particular subject than it used to be - not just when looking for something posted by a particular user. Houzz already made it difficult to post/comment if using an iPhone/iPad/MacBook Air awhile ago. It really irritates me to have to put my own apostrophes in + no auto capitalization of a word after a period + no auto period after spacing twice (plus, no autocorrect re: spelling + random insertion of repeated words/etc.) I first thought it was due to an update on my iPad - but then I realized I had no issues when using John Bridge Tile forum (they were helping me with issues re: a bathroom renovation). I also have the same threads suggested over and over under the ”More Discussions” - I don’t know if that’s because less new threads are being posted? It seems like there used to be interesting threads suggested under there - at least, ones that hadn’t already been suggested twenty times! While it made sense to stop suggesting really old threads under the ”More Discussions” because people would make a comment without looking at how old the thread was - it was helpful to see threads that were related to the post I was currently reading when I was doing some research on a particular issue. Okay, I’ll stop whining. . .
