I got an email back today. "HI there, Photos can be uploaded directly to Houzz, so while you may include links to photo bucket or other photo sites in your posts and comments, the photos can not be embedded directly. Original posts must be edited within an hour. Comments on posts can be edited up to one week later. The reason these limits are in place is to insure consistency in the discussion that follows and to allow for minimal disruption to the other users participating in the conversation. If posts are editable forever, discussions can lose their coherency as people come back and remove their content." I also saw on the Kitchen forum today someone mentioned a post she flagged as spam other people could still see and were commenting on. I'm interested to know how the flagging works too. - Since I flagged two of my own posts. I did want to correct that the photos from Photobucket that weren't coming down...when I went back in last night to try some tests here I realized I didn't delete all of my pics which was why they were still showing the other day. My bad. I apologize for going on about that when it was my fault.

On the main page it will say start a conversation. ..click it. Than type in your subject which must be 15 or more letters...than type in the body of your message than click next...here you must choose at least one place for your thread to goto. I scrolled down and found kitchen table and clicked it..than I clicked post. ..do not assume that just brcause your at the KT when you start your thread that it will show up here...it won't unless you choose the KT.

If you start a test thread in KT and don't want to clutter the forum, you can delete it within a certain time--an hour, IIRC--just ask that no comments be added. Two nights ago the HT music thread (also posted to Kitchens) wasn't loading video's, so I posted a test thread in Tests. My video loaded, so I don't know if that was just a glitch in HT & Kitchens, or if there is a difference in the Test forum. I usually delete my test threads in the Test forum, too. Speaking of testing, I'm adding a video here, to see if it's been corrected:

Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.” Matthew 13:31-32 That is quite appropriate too, because the botanist in me can tell you that my lawn is LOADED with weeds that are in the mustard plant family, Brassica. Lots of "cresses." Mustard plants are known by their flowers which, coincidentally, have four petals.
