I hear more people cuss Cardamine hirsuta than any other weed. Probably because it starts germinating in January and they are not ready to be out there pulling weeds just yet. It was a nice surprise to see so much of it severely frozen after the recent polar incident.

while closing the link ... i note that purslane is a portulaca.. go figure.. considering the other post on purslane.. maybe its this years pokeweed.. lol ... btw... i kill my weeds with a vengeance and a hatred as hot as a million burning suns ... other peeps eat this particular weed ... if it is purslane ... ken
