Where did you buy your door hardware?
Comments (27)I bought most of my hardware from Interknobs, but also some from Harware Hut. The prices and service were great. Be careful on the larger pulls. Many of the larger ones are "appliance pulls". Check the thickness and projection listed on them. The appliance pulls are usually much thicker and project out farther from the mounting surface. That's why they're so expensive. They are made to put on refrigerators and dishwashers that have panels installed to make them look like part of the cabinets. That may not be what you want to use on your regular cabinets....See MoreWhen did you buy cab hardware?
Comments (8)We had the option of ordering ours with the hardware, but IU wasn't sold ont he available choices. Instead, I kept looking. I found one I liked near the time we started the demo and ordered others that arrived just before the cabinets (I have two different styles and colors on different style cabinets). Hardware is one of those things that you can add later, so if you aren't sure, it's better to take a little time, even live with them a bit before you start drilling holes. If you have to order, it is also worth the time and shipping to order a sample and check them out with the cabinets in place to make sure it all comes tohethre right. Good luck. Have fun....See MoreWhere did you buy cabinet and appliance pulls?
Comments (14)My first advice is always to go to a store where you can see and touch the merchandise. We have a place locally that carries hundreds of knobs/pulls mounted on boards so you can do just that. Some pulls have unfinished backs that are just scratchy. Some will be too close to the drawer so that your knuckles bang the drawer/door. Some will be too short side to side for the width of your four pulling fingers. Some knobs are unfinished on the back. Others will just feel funny to you. Some hardware will snatch your pockets when you brush by them. It's the kind of thing you can't tell just by looking at a picture. When we had spent a couple of hours touching and feeling, we ended up choosing Amerock knobs and pulls that were on the least expensive side ($2 and $3 each?), not for the price, but for the look and feel. If you order online, at least order samples before you commit to ordering for the whole kitchen....See MoreDid you buy your cabinets online? If so, where?
Comments (0)I am looking into getting new cabinets. My cabinets are white in color and I am looking to getting dark colored cabinets(dark cherry). Did you do your shopping online, if so from where, and did you think you saved $$ by doing that? Thanks!...See Morejaviwa
