So want this rose but didn't order it in time. I was going to grow it as a large shrub here. Unfortunately I could not find it own root maybe someday. In the mean time I'll enjoy it thru your photos.

I had Cloud 10 last year. I had it in a spot too small for it. It was grafted. I bought it at Walmart. I got it in March and by October it was huge. It wanted to climb and I couldn't accommodate it. I gave it away to someone with space for it.

The blooms were indeed beautiful and it had healthy foliage and didn't BS very much at all.

Well I got it planted just in time for some afternoon rain . It smells so good ! I hope it does well . It's next to my climbing aloha , I think they will look beautiful when they mesh together .

First I must show off my assistant. Don't we all want a garden helper!? She dosnt do much, but we will keep her ;)

Did you say Cloud 10 smells so good? I haven't read anywhere else that it has a fragrance.

Braverichard , it does have a nice fragrance ! Now it's by aloha and one of those was open so it's possible it mixed in there but I do smell something good in cloud ten! And I bet the seller isn't propagating correctly but who knows .

Ran into a huge Cloud 10 in a 3 gallon pot at a nursery... even though I already had a band of it I picked it up anyway. It had a lot of blooms on it and seems like many of them have balled up and won't open and some open ones look really messed up. I can guess thrips may have gotten to the open ones that became messed up but as for the others that balled up, I wonder if this is a rose that is susceptible for balling up in wet weather. Has anyone else experienced this? Can thrips cause balling too?

I've read Cloud 10 loves full sun, but has anyone had any luck growing it in part shade? I'm in zone 8a and have a south facing wall I'd like to plant it against.

Spankgo , mine is in part shade due to this tree that really needs cut down but it’s the only safe place for birds in the area . It has always given me a nice spring flush , and fall , with a few between but I know it would be better and taller too if it had the sun it needs. Still so healthy and pretty though!

Lilyfinch I just saw this thread come up in my rose page. Your daughter is the most precious little helper anyone could wish to have. I think her face shows that she will be a kind sweet little lady that will help her mommy buy lots of roses :).

Dianela .. thank you !! She is an excellent helper. She knows to be careful of thorns and the other day said “whatchu doing mama ? Pruning ?” And I was so excited she knew what pruning was. When she sees pics of roses she always says how pretty and she smells everything she passes . Agh I love her! She’s 3 now .

Lilyfinch thank you for sharing. She looks like a little angel and her Christma‘s outfits and pictures look like they are from a Christmas movie or a magazine. She definitely has a very charismatic and charming and kind personality that comes through in every picture. I pray you have another one very soon to add to your happiness.

Is the Cloud 10 that you are growing fragrant? Is it a stiff upright grower or does it have lax canes? Is it blooming better as it is getting older?Thanks!
