What color sofa goes with a Mauve Recliner?
Comments (7)Beige or Taupe goes very well with Mauve, with cream accents. If you like, you can just compare paint colour cards at the store of similar colours to see the effect. Love mauve, my childhood bedroom was mauve. Good luck....See MoreSofa table behind reclining sofa
Comments (10)Hi, I'm not the original poster but I came here with the same issue, lol. I may go with a lower short table for part of the couch and a plant or something else to balance for the rest, like another suggested. I could do my long credenza behind it but I have to have about 8" of space between back of couch and back of sofa...deciding if it looks weird or not at the moment....See MoreRecliners or chairs for Bernhardt sofa! Comments (6)You could do a tilt-back chair with ottoman instead of a recliner. We used to have this chair and ottoman (in a burgundy leather) and it was much better looking, in my opinion, than a recliner. (And the tilting mechanism wasn't visible because it was between the seat cushion and the side!)Hancock and Moore "Cooper" tilt-back chair and ottoman If you're keeping the sofa pillows or going with different ones in red, consider a reddish leather: Hutton Ruby Columbia Berry Federal Bordeaux...See MoreStyle/type of Sofa (Sectional) would work with a dark brown Recliner
Comments (7)Sometimes it’s hard to have two different learners. If you want to keep the leather love seat then perhaps a fabric sofa or sectional. I’m a fan of sectionals, but ones that have flexibility. Ours is a sofa which chaise plus ottoman. So we can put chaise on either side and use ottoman as part of sectional or as table. It creates flexibility. We haven’t changed it around in two years but I’m glad we have options. Lots of people prefer the sofa look to sectional. It’s really about your space and layout and what works best for your family. I recommend taping out on the floor the options so you can see it better....See MoreUser
