Can't find a wildflower forum on here, so trying this one. I love corydalis, and have pots of it at the bottom of our front stairs, in four colors so far (one pic of some below).
Everything you can think of is blooming around here right now, and yesterday I was walking along and saw several plants growing in the spaces between the cut fronds of a large palm tree - a fig tree, and several other plants (amazing what happens where there is a 12 month growing season). One of them looked amazingly like my corydalis, although smaller in leaf and bloom. Since then, I have noticed it growing and blooming all over the place where there are weeds growing - alongside of the sidewalk, etc.
So, my question is: is anyone familiar with this plant, and is it really a type of corydalis? Thanks for your help -
Jackie
