Comments (30)I did winter 3 Bucks-- 2 Prairie Princess and 1 Prairie Star last winter with no other protection other than snow. So..........??? We'll see what happens this winter. I did enquire about the Brownwell roses as well, but couldn't find them on their own roots, so I decided not to purchase any. I am quite pleased with the flower productivity of these 3 Buck roses. They don't flower as much as the Canadian roses but I am totally in love with the smell and fullness of the flowers. Next year, I will be trying more. I know this without even knowing what will happen this winter with the new ones. I might have to order from the U.S. if I can't find what I'm looking for here . Just to let you know which Buck roses I have in my beds---- 3 Prairie Star (my most favorite) 1 Aunt Honey 1 Hawkeye Belle 1 Country Dancer 2 Serendipity (the broken one did grow) 2 Golden Unicorn 1 Distant Drums 2 Folksinger (one is peach, the other yellow???) 2 Prairie Princess 1 Carefree Beauty ( my least favorite) Shelley...See MoreBest Dishwasher Tablets/Detergent
Comments (28)Last night we had 4 extra people over for dinner, and the Miele Diamante was completely full to the max with dishes, bowls, pots/pans, glasses, cups, silverware and cutlery. We used the last half of the Miele Tab that was left over from the few demo tabs we had and ran the unit on the Pots & Pans program. Once again, everything came out clean and spotless. There are about 1-2 weeks worth of the Cascade Action Packs in the container, but I think once they are used up, I'll just get the box of Miele Tabs. Even though there are 60 tabs in the box, they are scored in the center so are easily broken in half, which really gives you 120 loads. I don't understand why they just don't make the Miele Tabs half the size to begin with, since it cleans just fine. That way you'd have 120 in the box (at the smaller size) and it would "look" to be better price, even though it is $30. The way it is now, you have 60 large tabs for $30, which seems expensive ($0.50 a tab). But when they are in half, you get 120 tabs at $0.25 each. You would of thought their marketing people would have realized this and made the boxes with 120 smaller tabs instead of 60 large tabs that can be broken in half....See MoreSpy bot 2.2 or 1.6.2.
Comments (6)Historically there were complaints regarding v2.2. In response I never upgraded my prior system from the old reliable v1.6.2. I am not using SB at all on this new system as I find SAS and MWB sufficient. Since both versions are " All Windows versions" capable I recommend doing research as to current complaints. Comments (9)I have a Surface Pro3 at work. I use it pretty much as a laptop, not a tablet but at times it's nice to have the touch screen functionality. I think it would be better for personal use as it doesn't have a network jack, you have to have an accessory to plug it into a projector and it only has one USB port. It's also VERY Microsoft centric - for example you can't change your search engine default to Google. It's somewhat buggy even with Microsoft applications which you'd think would be the one thing they'd get right. I had to return my keyboard under warranty as one of the keys stopped working. I have considered buying one for personal use but more as a laptop not tablet though I'm not sure how well the keyboard would stay attached if not on a hard surface. I know another person whose Surface was slipping off his lap and he grabbed the keyboard which of course easily detached which resulted in a fatality for Surface. I might rather have a real laptop with a real keyboard. I use a Ipad mini for my tablet at home and I have a desktop computer for when I want a real keyboard. At some point I will want a laptop type device with a keyboard....See Moregardener123
