Vinyl sheet flooring ripped near bathtub while removing caulk. Help?

Tat

While removing the caulk I accidentally ripped the vinyl sheet flooring near the bathtub. I've seen the patchwork videos but I'd rather not. I also tried the caulk strip but soon realized it wouldn't curve- and trying to do so looked like a slop job. I also just tried filling it in with extra colored caulk- that also looked like a slop job!

I don't need anything fancy, I like mismatched, rustic, etc. Any ideas of what I can put there and then caulk around it?

I like what these two did (links) BUT my bathtub is curved! But I would like something like this if anyone has ideas for the curves (see photo)
