Which do you prefer, the process or the end result?
Comments (13)I agree. It IS back-breaking work, but I know what I want to achieve, and I feel good at the end of a project when I look at what has been done. It wouldn't be as rewarding if someone else came in and did it. I'm enjoying a new area we planted last year, I have to say, each day has been a thrill so far. All the things I planted, I get to see change and grow, it's very exciting to me, it'll take a few years to get established, but I'm loving it! Now I'm working on a new area, and I can't wait to get it done, but really, it's never done! Sometimes, I wish I had it ALL DONE, but each season, I have something to look foward to working on, which is quite rewarding. It's also nice to hear comments from passers by that they enjoy it as well....See Morewhich do you prefer?
Comments (40)Dolly is absolutely adorable. I like your home because it shows personality and individual taste. Lucky you to have high ceilings and a beautiful fireplace. That's half the battle won in having a beautiful room. I'm afraid I have to agree that your bookcase needs to be edited. I imagine that not every object there has equal value or meaning for you, and you might try eliminating those that are less meaningful, and especially the clear glass items, which seem to dilute the impact of the others. You might try putting them elsewhere as a group if they are important to you. It would be nice to see the red carpet in situ to be able to determine how well it goes with your furniture. I have a feeling that it would look really great....See MoreWhich do you prefer?POLLS closed, thank you! : )

Comments (24)@kculbersI love old corning ware and pyrex. I have the cornflower corning ware set from my mom and pyrex collected over the years. I am not a fan of crockpots, and stopped using mine once I purchased a instapot. I do love my air fryer and use it all the time. Last time I was at the Corning Glass Museum they had a pyrex room and I got more 13x9 and loaf pans for $5.00! I use them all the time. My elderly aunt keeps buying me ceramic casserole dishes (I don't make too many casseroles but can't hurt her feeling) and I have this really cool vintage Wagner art deco roaster. Hope between the 5 kids they want this stuff!...See Moregrainlady_ks
