Comments (17)One's trash ... is someone else's treasure. Squirrels don't bother me much, but they can be a nuisance. But coons - they can be real pains in the patoot, at times ... e.g. when they pull down over a hundred ears of sweet corn ... and take about one bite out of each. Comments (10)I visited a nursery yesterday, and brought home some really gaudy plants. Not my typical choices, but that is the only Hamelia I have been able to find for hummingbird fodder. The variegated Potato Bush has a difficult garden problem to solve--and the non-variegated just does not fly my plane, so to speak. I'm not going to be planting these together....See More

My brother was born on St. Patrick's Day and owes his middle name to the day. One year he exclaimed: "No more green cake. I'm sick to death of always having green cake."
I have found hundreds (maybe thousands) of four-leaf clovers in my life, at least a hundred 5-leaf clovers, and three 6-leaf clovers.

For the variety shown in ravencajun's picture, that I've always refered to as a "shamrock" I've only every found two 4-leafed ones.
