We hit 87 degrees in Nashville yesterday. Yep. An all time winter high.

It's 25 degrees here in Colorado, a light covering of snow is on the ground. Two weeks ago I dug clumps of day lilies to plant at my rental house and they were frozen solid!

Jealous! It's cold in Wisconsin, rained all day yesterday and snow today. I just got the dogs groomed yesterday and they look really good. Their beautiful hairdos are going to get ruined,boo!

When I got up this morning at 6:00, it was 72. No breeze. Lots of moisture in the air. I wore myself out getting the newspaper!

We got to 84 here yesterday and expect to get to 80 today. I'm loving it.

It was 80's yesterday. 71 right now. Overcast and rain headed our way. I'm ok with that. Not much of a winter. I'm realizing I need to transplant some flowers before the season gets too hot.

I'm in Ma. and it's a chilly bleak day.

It's been summer temps here in the Houston area for a while now. My AC has been on. My iris have bloomed and bloomed. My star gazer lilies are putting on buds. Red bud trees have been blooming. My Bridal veil trees are gorgeous just loaded with white flowing blooms.

But I really know what time of the year it is because the minute I returned home I can't breathe, my nose is stopped up, my eyes and red and itchy, I have to use my inhaler at night... AND EVERYTHING IS YELLOW! The dreaded pine trees yellow pollen has covered absolutely everything. My neighbor came while we were gone and swept the driveway of the inches of yellow because she knows how allergic I am. But it's unavoidable. I absolutely love my huge touch the sky pine trees but they sure are a mess!

In the 80's here today, too, but a cold front is coming for the weekend and beginning of next week. Lows might get down into the 30's but I hope not! It's been so strange to have so much warm weather and the trees aren't even leafed out yet. Red buds, flowering cherry and pears are blooming along with the other early spring stuff.

It's been hard to keep out of the garden with the tender things because it's been so warm. Luckily I erred on the side of caution because of course these cold fronts would come eventually.

Am now awaiting the arrival of Raven's pine yellow. Hate that stuff!

I'm not loving it ,because I don't like summer weather. Winter, my favorite month, was eight weeks old. Record months with many 60 degree days and last week, still in winter ,we had three or four days approaching 80 and some reached 82, . Not natural and will result in many insects and disease. All Magnolias and other blossoms will suffer when the temp briefly goes to normal.

glenda, I was in Birmingham less than 2 weeks ago and it was a good 30 degrees colder than what you now report. Of course the best way to describe weather is that it's unpredictable. Enjoy your sunshine.

We too in ND are have a way above average winter with very little snow and the temp actually in the 50-60 range but now in the 30-40 above. People wearing shorts etc No one can believe it.
