The right side appears to be a garage door blocked with shrubs. Is that right?

No, it's just siding. We were told by a contractor that a window could be added there, it's just a bedroom. The entire left side is a bathroom so without a complete remodel we can't add anything to that side.

Personally, I'd hide the entire left side with a much bigger shrubbery. It'd be cheap and (easier), than structural changes.

Glass blocks or a window that isn't see through for the bathroom side (left). It will allow natural light into the bathroom is which is always a plus. I agree the right side looks like a garage door and it doesn't match the house, it looks like it doesn't belong there. Perhaps remove the siding, install a window, and have a bricklayer/tuckpointer come out for a day and brick it up so it looks right. Or if you can find a faux brick pattern that looks right perhaps side it with that, but the real brick would be better.

The siding on the gables is fine, but it just doesn't look right being on the one section on the front.

For an inexpensive faux window, add a couple of rectangular or window-shaped trellises to the masonry wall on the left.

They could be hung from the soffits with chain, or if you did want to mount them to the masonry, you could use standoff brackets.

Find a trellis shape and scale that you like, you can change the trellis pattern as needed to match or mimic the muntin pattern of the windows you install on the right if you desire.

Leave it naked or grow something on it.

that wall (stage right) is begging for a large casement bay window. If it is a bedroom with another window that is egress compliant then you can put in any size you want. Remember bedrooms have specific fire escape requirements. I put one in last year, the window cost $1200 and I DIY so I have no idea what your contractor would charge

Not enough information if you're really serious about changing the appearance of the house.

Some landscape would be nice too, maybe a small ornamental tree or three or a wishing well, arbor, brick or rock wall (maybe around a new tree), a lantern, a Flagpole, a bolder, etc.

Perhaps a broken down antique POS like a horse cart, a wine press, sleigh. I hate shabby chic but some people like old stuff lying around depending on the neighbor hood style.

A fence would be an easy and mid priced upgrade with many choices based on typical styles in your area

Hope you don't have an HOA to spoil your plans after you fall in love with them.

Odd. Google the pic. This home is/has been listed on both Trulia and Zillo. The listing calls it an attached 2 car garage. Somebody may have converted it into a bedroom but it started as a garage. If that's siding it replace a garage door.
