I'm glad you are felling a bit better. Hopefully, you like the warmer weather and it allows you to get out and about as you wish. (((Hugs!)))

Thrilled to hear things are going well for you. I have been there, too. It is scarey but they have come a long way with treatments. I remember the nurses being so nice to me. I have a funny story to tell. One day I was in getting my chemo and when the nurse was giving me one of the drugs she started laughing. You see the drug I was getting had to be given slowly or your crouch area would burn. The heat would come and go quickly. The nurse would watch her watch as she was doing it. She told me Edith ( a spunky 87 year old lady) had been in the day before and she got the same drug. As the nurse was giving it Edith all of a sudden started squirming and said, "Oh, I haven't had a hot box like this in 40 years." She always livened up the place when she came in.

We are having crazy warm weather, too. Lots of wonderful sunshine. Sure helps a person's frame up mind. Makes me want to get up and do something instead of just sitting. Love sunshine.

Marie, get lots of rest and surround yourself with fun people. Soon this will all be memories from the past. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

A young friend of mine when going through treatment for lymphoma called his port and catheter 'his blessing'. This was a few years ago and maybe with something new, smaller and efficient you've been doubly blessed. We'll hope so, and continue to keep you in prayer until you are well again.

If you have the energy, I would appreciate hearing how this came to light. Did you have specific symptoms? What pushed you to see a doctor? Were you diagnosed quickly? Lots of us on the forum have the same 'lady parts' -- as my DGD (5) says.
