Comments (7)Besides what Randy wrote that you may not have all your updates I also wonder if you have a program running that goes out to the atomic clock at regular intervals to keep you clock accurate. Which it would keep at GMT rather than daylight saving time without that update. Interesting, let us know what you do/did to fix it please...See MoreChange Daylight sSavings date RTH8500D Honeywell tstat
Comments (6)Actually, Windoze has had that feature for some time - I remember downloading a patch for Windows 2000 to allow for date changes. Of course, even Microsoft eventually caught up to Apple and offer an option to reference the computer clock to a time server, so you never have to check the accuracy of the clock either, provided your internet connection is accurate and your timezone preferences are set. You've got me on the car. Our oldest is a '92 so pre-internet even. Keeps pretty accurate time unlike the mechanical car clocks of old. Comments (7)Oh no! I had no idea either! And though I like DST later in the year, and I LOVE SPRING and am soooo ready for it, it's just now getting to the point where it's light at a reasonable time in the morning here! Now it's going to be dark an hour later. On the bright side, for me anyway, is that I start work at 5 a.m. and it's dark then anyway, and would be until later on in the season even if we didn't start DST....See MoreDaylight Savings Time
Comments (12)Sally, Ok...got back this afternoon. I don't even know how many thrift stores we combed thru! I bought a couple plastic containers to put a project in so I can at least see what I'm (not) doing. Found 1 1/2 yd Tampa Bay Devil Rays fabric and they only charged me 99 cents! Good fabric, too! I finished a couple bags that needed some handsewing done on them and read a couple books. Other than that, I slept a lot (she did, too)! Couldn't believe it! Yesterday we woke up around 8 and ate a bagel....went back to bed and my cell phone woke us up at noon!!!! Thursday night we played Bingo and had fun. Oh yessssss, what a nice retreat....looking over Tropicana Field, seeing parrots fly around from your window, watching black and white movies (a couple starring Red Skelton - what a hoot), a lot of laughter and fun....... Linda, You did good in getting your quilt done and turned in! Make sure someone posts so we know how you are following your surgery. You know how we worry when we don't hear anything! I'm still thinking I'll be able to make it up there for your quilt show. Maryliz, I found out I'm going to be great-gramma again so yellow sounds like a winner to me!!!
