It's Groundhog Day! We don't have groundhogs in Newfoundland. I saw this one in Montreal a few years ago. At least I think it's a groundhog.

I used to stop and take timer pictures with me under it, or with a whole group of friends under and around it. 10 years agoTo go with Moni's photo. This is a long-needle pine in Moorea. One rarely sees roots like this with such a tree in the northern hemisphere.
