Comments (151)Wow! Boxes are flying!!! And of course, the host is late getting her's out! Sorry Annie! I'm hoping to get it in the mail by Wed at the latest! Will someone PLEASE let out a BIG YELL for me?!? I've lost my voice today, it started out just squeaky and raspy, now I am down to barely a whisper! I never realized how much I talk! LOL! AND, I've never had this before and never knew how straining it is to try and talk with no voice! I am trying some home remedies *grabbing the last tea back from Dan* Sorry Dan, but I am ill and need medicine! hehe Maybe we can get someone to go for a "tea" run! Sprouts!!! Does anyone else besides Linda have sprouts?!?! Should I have them already? We are still getting temps in the 20's some nights! We got 4" of snow last Tuesday morning, and by 2:00 it was almost 60 degrees out and it had all melted! They are calling for more of that icky stuff all week! Well, I'm gonna go get Zack ready for bed, he thinks this is just great that I can't talk and of course Jamie is out of town so there is no here to "enforce" what I whisper and he keeps saying "what? I can't hear you!" GRRRRR!! Did anyone get more tea yet!? Vic...See Morenew: mnf march madness

Comments (129)Received my great box from Rose today and what fun to open. She included a 4 o'clock tuber which is great because I couldn't grow any successfully last year so this will give me a head start. The cutest little painted gourd ornament that is hanging on our tree as I type this, nothing but that is on that tree because I am so far behind but it looks great. I love the ornaments I hang on the tree each year from my gardenweb friends. A decorative spray can for misting my plants, (much needed), seeds, hot cocoa mix, (again much needed as our temps have dropped), all fruit spread that will be out on the table tomorrow morning at breakfast and a huge jar of honey that I can't wait to start using. Thank you so much for all the great things packed in my box Rose. It is all much appreciated. I hope everyone is off to a great weekend. I spent an hour last night standing in the freezing cold after the maintenance guy hit a gas line while trying to dig next to our building to fix where we had water leak every time it rained. The store quickly filled up so we had to leave and it took almost an hour to get the company out to shut off the gas. The guy that hit the line thought it was no big deal and told other businesses that they didn't need to worry. The gas company was not happy with him. Since he was the one who caused the problem, he or his boss will be responsible. He made a real mess that escalated into big problems so this will cost someone thousands of dollar. Thus, the reason the gas company says "call before you dig". Smitties...See MoreMNF (revisited), New Beginnings Seed Swap
Comments (305)Val - I have some Indian Shot Canna seeds. I can send you a few. I planted 5 or 6 last year and every one came up and bloomed. I nicked the hard shell, put them in hot water and let them sit for 24-48 hours (don't remember exactly how long) and then planted them inside until the time was right to plant outside. Although I only kept one plant. I gave away the others. So if you want them, let me know. I think we are both in the New Year seed swap, so I can put them in your baggie. Hopefully I can get that sent off tomorrow....See Moreval (MA z6)
