I finally get to go to Costco tomorrow - what should I buy
Comments (70)I recently purchased bilateral hearing aids from Costco.....loved that the hearing specialist is not on commission and that I can try them for 90 days and get a full refund if not satisfied. I tried getting aids thru the audiologist and the price was $6000. For the newest technology and comparable aids at Costco I paid $2000. I love them and cannot imagine being without them.....and I have only had them for ten days. I go in Monday for a recheck and will have some fine tuning done is necessary. I have also had really good service from the optical department. I have had my last two pair of glasses made there even though I used an opthmalogist instead of their optician....See MoreSocks, I have info on coloring books site.
Comments (24)Got the computer back! I use Malwarebytes, but after what I call the "Coloring Book Virus" arrived on the computer, Malwarebytes did not pick it up nor did AVG Free. Too late I guess. Raven, I use IE and saw WOT on download.com but would rather download from the site you linked. I just have to make an account in order to hook up with the IE version of WOT? Also, if a person clicks on a site and WOT gives you a warning, isn't it too late by then? Not sure how it works. Moni, sweet picture of your granddaughter. Here's my current work. Hey, others can share work too!!...See MoreAdult coloring books
Comments (27)Thanks Donna, the blue butterflies one I did in honor of my mom. Soon after her passing I, my sisters and my niece had some very interesting and touching blue butterfly experiences. Lisa how fortunate for you that you were introduced to the coloring. I first saw the use of coloring as therapy when my mom broke her hip. In the recovery facility they used it to help them relax and focus on something other than their pain and situation they were in. My mom enjoyed it very much even though her hands were twisted and deformed by Rheumatoid arthritis she was able to do some very pretty work. I am glad I decided to give it a try. Interestingly enough as a child I was never really into coloring and was not very good at it either. I feel your addiction pain lol....See MoreNew coloring?
Comments (11)I ordered some of the black background coloring books by Creative Haven on Amazon. they have very good art work but the paper is not great. It is perforated but when I tried to tear out my first picture to color it did not tear on the perfs all the way luckily it did not tear into the picture. The paper is not as good a quality as some of the other books I don't know if it is because it is printed with the black background. I am spoiled by those big books I got at Costco the paper on those is just wonderful very thick like card stock and the ink does not smear and bleed through. This black background paper does not flow as smoothly and there is some bleed through. I also got some new gel pens I am trying out today. Will have to report back on those. I am coloring one of the black background pictures right now with the new pens....See Moreravencajun Zone 8b TX
