Glenda, do you or anyone you know have a photo software program such as Paint Shop Pro? It can be relatively inexpensive on sale ($15-25), compared to the high end programs, especially if it isn't the latest edition. The date could easily and quickly be cloned out of your photo. My husband frequently takes tilted photos, and I also love the tool that corrects that within a few seconds, with just a couple of clicks. (ETA: Of course the program does a lot of other photo tasks, too!)

We're on the periphery of the storm and aren't expecting much snow, although it looks fairly serious at the moment--and the wind keeps blowing it onto my porch. Moni, I'm glad you explained. Loved the manatees I used to see in Florida. Poor things, often cut by boat propellers. I hope something has been done to eliminate or minimize that. A resting deer this morning.

Yes, Annie, interesting! Growing up in NYC, I never gave a thought to where the brown stone might have come from. Nor did I wonder where our drinking water came from. (I'm not proud of these lapses--and I'm sure there were many others!)
