Comments (13)Gazania, that is so smart and so thoughtful for the ground feeders. When I was feeding the birds, the ground feeders were only getting whatever was dropped. Jim, your picture makes me long for spring! And our winter hasn't even been really bad this year.
The animals and I are just trying to keep warm on these cold winter days and nights. Spring can't come too soon.
10 years ago4 Stella Blue Jays in a dying redwood tree. We lost a lot of trees due to drought.
10 years agoThose Steller's Jays are so pretty. I have to drive up the mountains a bit to see them. I'm envious of all of those photos posted lately of male cardinals against the snow, too. What a contrast they make! I don't get to see cardinals except when on vacation. And rarely is it snowing then.
