Those are really pretty. I wonder how hard they would to keep clean? That shade is very white. My pendant lights always seem to get very dusty. i went with an all metal pendant.

I have a thread asking if my chosen pendants are too big (I think they are). I have several pics of ones I like in there--I think one is the same pic maven19 is showing. Anyway, I am confused too. My issue is that I am going from a house with 9 foot ceilings to one with 8 foot ceilings. I need to adjust my scale a bit. I am also trying to keep the cost of all pendants (2-3 depending on size) under $500. Here are my current pendants. I think they are Visual Comfort. They are brushed nickel, though they kind of look like brass here. I still like them, but want to do something more open in my new house. I like the ones you are considering.

jaimeeap--forgive my ignorance, but do you have any pictures of the island/kitchen in question? I love the pendants, but it's hard to say whether they are appropriate for your kitchen without knowing what it looks like. :-) Maven19, since I'm also doing a gray kitchen, I absolutely love your inspiration photos! I think the pendants in your second picture are my personal favorites. I'm going to have to go very small and subtle, since it's a small space and a low ceiling and anything much over "mini" size will look out of place. But in a big kitchen? Yep! I love them! kelleg69, this photo is of your current home, but you are moving to a new one? Just want to make sure I understand. I must say, it's a very beautiful kitchen!
