Making Tamales

I like tamales. But I'd like more meat than the typical commercial tamale. So I'm thinking about making a big batch of tamales and freezing them. Anyone have any tips for this?. Where do you get the masa and husks?. Any fun or interesting fillings?. I'd like to make pork tamales, but how about duck, or fish, or veggie . . .
