Newby needs help

I went from ms 7 to 10, installed a new hp 8610 printer and got a new Galixy s5 in the same week and, guess what, my PC has slowed down considerably. Before, it was very plesant to use. Now it makes me want to throw it out. Is there any way to know what has apparently overloaded the unit? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You can right click the taskbar and run the TaskManager.... Look at details tab and click the cpu will bring the highest item using cpu % to top.... Also look under the performance tab for an overall .. cpu / memory usage.

,,,, abd go from there. Sounds like one of your installs is screwing things up maybe. Or a windows update hung. But start at cpu usage what is it.. maybe memory usage tab there too for some Wow

When I installed Win10 to a Toshiba Satellite laptop, it slowed down to a virtual halt. Took forever to boot; firefox required 3 to 5 attempts to open; MS Mail would not open; and the wifi connection dropped every hour.

Reverted to original Win7 and all is good.

We are about to make the plunge to purchase a 6 acres property. About 4 acres are cleared. The house is in the middle, 1/2 acres on one side and 3+ acres on the other. We are going to fence in the 1/2 acre for our dog and as a flower garden and farm the 3 acres. At my current 1/2 acre house, we have a large veggie garden, chicken coop and a few fruit trees. We know that 3 acres will be a completely different ball game. Can someone help us with ideas how to use this land? We think we would stay with just chickens, maybe more chickens, but no other livestock as we would like to go on week long vacations. what kind of crops should we grow? And how can we sell the harvest to receive income. Do we need to buy heavy equipment to work the land? Should we build raised beds? How do hobby framers irrigate their land? (We use soaker hoses right now on the raised beds.) thanks in advance for your advice.

P Bradford, For your peace of mind, take it back. For the sake of starting off with the healthiest rose possible, take it back. Take it back. Tell them to destroy it! Meticulously look over any replacement rose or future purchases of roses, from all sources...even very reputable ones, like Sherlock Holmes with his hand held magnifying glass would. Disease and epidemic insects are spread very easily. Also compare #1 to C. pellucida. Generally, red edges on Crassulaceae family members is a product of significant direct sun. #3 does look like Angelina (Sedum reflexum / rupestre.)

Seems like a good idea but it's from the central growing section and with or without a bloom stock, the center is no longer a growing point. Some times the central area rots due to water in the crown and the same thing happens to the whole plant. If strong enough, it still produces pups all around it. This method is used by growers to produce more plants thru pupping. I think they use a soldering gun to kill the central growing point. Same with euphorbia to induce branching.

Am I missing something? I get installed Win 10 to Win 7 computer, installed new HP Printer, got new Galaxy s5, then "My PC has S", then that's it! Not sure what My PC has S means? Not sure how the responders have figured this out?

Looks like the user upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10, installed a new printer and the PC has slowed down considerably.

I would start by Uninstall the Printer and see what happens! If the Samsung Galaxy is plugged into the computer I would remove it too! Try doing the easy stuff first to see if one of those will fix the Computer Slowdown problem!

The Above wasn't showing up in this post for me last night! I tried refreshing the browser a couple of times. I even came back 15 minutes later on a different browser and checked, still wasn't there.
