Unresponsive web page

A particular web page has become unresponsive (when I go to this page, there is a sentence at top of page that says Internet Explorer is not responding). Can someone guide me to try and track down the cause? This is a page I need to do my work report; the browser is Internet Explorer; Silverlight has been downloaded as the success of the reports relies on Silverlight. Thank you.

Have you tried using Firefox or Chrome?

Thanks for the suggestion. Chrome doesn't support Silverlight (actually, I can't get Chrome to open). Have thought about downloading Firefox. Thanks again.

Mia, I think it is a conspiracy. My husband kind of tricked me to go look at the 2012 Equinox because he thought I might like to have a newer one. The salesman quickly grabbed the keys and brought one up to the front for me to drive. I didn't drive it but I did get in and look. When we got the one I have now, I had six grandchildren here for a few days, and they ran an TV ad for zero percent financing in Joplin. He wanted me to go right then and find one. I had already driven one and thought they were OK, but we had just bought a new truck, so I wasn't looking for a car. He said what do you want on the car. Since we live in an area with quite a few hills, I didn't want to give up my four-wheel drive. My mother was still living at the time and I was having to make a lot of 300 mile trips so I said I wanted cruise control. He called from the dealer and told me they had two left with four wheel drive and cruise control. He told me the two colors they had, and I picked one. You can see how really excited I get over a new car. Needless to say, he has liked it a lot better than I have, but it's OK. LOL Now GardenWeb has this big ad, that every time I open a thread that says Chevy Equinox Sale 2012. I'm glad to know that it is on your computer too and that I'm not being targeted. LOL After hearing the forecast for this week, I probably should be shopping for an ark.

I wish you would go back and copy and paste what you have written here at the KT and sort of start at the beginning to preserve your story for others to read. I have a young niece who is a writer and I want her to read your story...but I think it would be wonderful if the whole of your story starting with the school part was all there...

I am curious too. After the change my yrade page disappeared, but I could still send messages. After a while I found how to set my trades again, last I checked it had disappeared again. I have trouble sending messages with the new system, I sid not at first. Maybe in their fine tuning something changed and I am too ignorant to figure it out.

OK, it's been awhile since I streamed Netflix on a PC using Chrome, I see you're right. Thanks. Try Firefox then.

Have you tried to repair IE? Use Control Panel to navigate to Add/Remove Programs. Choose IE then choose Repair. That may fix the issue.

I did a windows update and problem seems to be fixed. Interestingly, when I went to the Add/Remove Programs screen, IE didn't appear on the list. Don't know why problem appeared in the first place, but grateful for the suggestions. Thank you.

Try this website on Chrome/ Comodo Dragon or Mozilla Firefox.
