I know this post is a bit old but wanted to chime in for people currently in the market. First of all even without a huge weight difference between husband and wife (unfortunately I have been catching up over the years) I have found on many occasions that I either roll into my husband or his side of the bed going down causes mine to rise or become uneven. I know the 2 times this was the worst in our 19 year marriage was on our old water bed and on our sleep number bed. The sleep number was the worst bed I have ever owned. We threw it out. We have had our Tempurpedic Celebrity for about 4 years now and we still love it. When we travel the one thing we always say is that we cannot wait to get home to our bed. No other bed is quite the same. That being said I do want to mention 2 items that seem to come out a lot on the memory foam in general and my personal take on it. First issue is the heat. Yes it is a little warmer. I bought the tempurpedic mattress pad and it helped tremendously. My husband who is always hot does not complain ever and we live in phoenix where summer is 105 at night. Second issue is that it does soften up over time. on a cold night it may be hard at first until you lay down, but after a half hour it will be perfect. Now the last thing I want to mention is that I have Fibromyalgia and spend a tremendous amount of time in bed. When I have flareups I may be in bed for 2 days. I find that with my pressure points and the long times in bed I do get a little sore, but again it is because I lay on one side for hours at a time and I am overweight. This is one of the worst things for FM patients is to stay in bed too long but sometimes it is unavoidable. Also we bought this bed because my husband likes a firmer bed than me but since he can sleep anywhere and I am lucky if I sleep at all, he has decided that I win. For this reason we are looking at getting the Tempurpedic Cloud Supreme. This is a much softer mattress and I am hoping it will help with the pressure issues. Overall the Tempurpedic is the best mattress ever. If it were not for my FM I would keep the one I have but I currently want a slightly softer one. I would look at their website and make sure to choose the one wiht the appropriate firmness for you.

It seemed to be nicely moist in most places. There were definitely some dry spots, especially in some of the timothy hay. I really didn't loosen up the hay when I put it in the pile. I simply peeled off chunks from the bale. They were still dry in a number of spots. I added some water, but I don't think it was enough. The pile has not shown any signs of heating up again. Since my compost pile is at my allotment site, and it is March, there is no ready, close source of water yet. The taps won't be on until May. I have been doing my best with some plastic jugs of water, but for a big pile, it does not seem to be enough. The forecast for the weekend is 25C and sunny too! Here is what it looks like after the turn. I rolled off the top bales at the front, revealing the darker composting material inside the bale bin. The darker bale in the lower right is timothy hay, the rest are straw. I also have spread a "lid" of loose straw over the compost. It still has a long way to go.

Oooh! This happened to me, I had gorgeous silk draperies (Cowtan and Tout) in my old dining room that had 9' ceilings. My new house has 10' ceilings. There was no way I wasn't going to use these drapes...I adore them. Luckily, I had 3 windows in old house and 2 in new...I took drapes to a fabric shop and they said they could add 14" to the bottom from 2 panels I wasn't using! We found some perfect trim, (egads, 10 yards though...ouch) and omg, they turned out so well...I adore them. I don't think it looks obvious at all. Perhaps this could work for you?

I have a temperpedic flex supreme and I have been having issues with it sleeping hot. I am a hot sleeper but this bed just made it worse. I have tryed everything to get me off the matress and found a few things that help... the matress protector your using will play a big roll in if it sleeps hot or not look for one that's breathable with a Terry cotton top. I was still hot so I found a 100% cotton thin matress pad to go on top of the protector and has helped greatly with the heat issue. Try to stay away from anything that has polyester in any of your bedding as it traps in heat. Also try a light quality wool comforter as wool will breath a lot better but still keep u warm. 100% cotton 300 count high quality sheets work great as well. I have found microfiber sheets to sleep a little warm. I plan on returning this matress and getting a beatyrest black black model as they are filled with great cooling features. I think memory foam can work just fine but not alone. The matress needs to be engineered to provide air flow threw the matress and use materials to keep the matress cool. Temperpedic is highly lacking on this in all there models. Personally I think your paying for a name with them.
