Walnut Shell as ground cover alternative
Comments (0)does anyone have any experience of crushed walnut shells as a ground cover alternative to a lawn? I have only seen it once before, and there's very little about it online. My specific concern is if my son could play soccer on it. A lot of people in my area are pulling up lawns and landscaping with decomposed granite, but I wouldn't want my son playing ball on the stuff. I know with kumquats that there are few root stocks that have long term compatibility with the Meiwa making for slow growing and dead trees. A grapefruit can be grown from seed and bud wood of the exact variety could be grafted to it. It might do real well. This applies from zone 10 down to zone 2. Comments (5)I dont have an answer but I have the same question. I currently have a moen gooseneck faucet with sprayer that never locks back into place- thr counterweight under the sink is always impinged. Been thinking about one of those springy "pro" faucets as there is a clear mechanism to snap it magnetically back into place but not sure if that will solve my problem....See More- 8 years ago
