Comments (27)Debbie, Sorry your DD may not make it for Christmas, like you said her safety is the most important. Best of luck that your DH doesn't get laid off. Hopefully jobs will be getting more available in 2010. My DD is in Chicago(going to school) will be coming next week for a visit, so My Christmas will be slightly delayed! Stay warm...we had a little drizzle here(leftover from you guy's storm). We are suppose to be in the mid 70's here today, but getting a cold front by tomorrow. Missed it for Christmas day...but we will take it anyways,lol... Merry Christmas!...See MoreDoes you have any extra hoya cuttings to give away for holiday?
Comments (5)It may be mild where you are, just as it was mild in FL, where the sender of my last hoya cuttings lives. The problem is, it is NOT mild here in WA, nor is it mild on the journey to AR. And USPS priority isn't always priority. The last shipment I recieved were Priority 2 day, and it took 5 days to get here. The cuttings suffered. I am sorry, but it would be a waste to send cuttings of cuttings and not have them survive. I am sticking to spring shipping, for the safety of the plants and the happiness of the exchangees! *As a further note, the reason I had you look at what I have for trade is so that you can look up different types of hoya and see what interests you. It is important for you to do this anyway, as different hoya require different care, eg. hoya caudata needs humidity and warmth, and likes to stay moist, whereas you could easily cause root rot in other hoya, if you give them the same care as caudata. And some hoya should be grown dry in the winter, whereas others like it cooler or really warm. Not to mention, when you look them up, you get to see the leaves and flowers, which is always a plus for any hoya connoisseur! *edited to add further thoughts This post was edited by AuroraWA on Mon, Dec 15, 14 at 22:23...See MoreMerry Christmas or Happy Holidays!
Comments (8)Madonna, Merry Christmas to you and your DH, and a very happy anniversary. You have been and continue to be in my prayers, I do hope your husband proves them all wrong and makes it south to warm weather. Meanwhile, I hope you are enjoying the Christmas tree and some nibbles and visits with family. For everyone here, as Carol/Dishesdone used to tell me: "Happy Everything to Everyone". I hope your holidays were all you wished for and your New Year is peaceful and prosperous. Annie...See MoreRobin Mason
