Hi Ronf - where (in what state) is your stairway to heaven? I know you were in Wyo this past summer but didn't know for sure if that is where this pic was taken. Everybody else really great pictures! I am always especially partial to water pics but these are all just great. Molly

Gorgeous lodge! Lynn, you must live in rural PA--like me. This is Grimmy, another of our cats from the past. My daughter Jill chose him from the shelter because of his "lion face." She named him Grimmy after the dog in the cartoon "Mother Goose & Grimm."

An old Japanese Sake barrel I bought on Craig's List for $5. Jodi-

Thanks Patti. Yes, it was really done on low budget. Including the granite, all materials and labor, it was a little less than $8,000 (granite was almost 1/2 the cost). I hired a handyman and except for the granite countertop, he did everything, including the plumbing and electrical. He didn't have any overhead expenses and thus, saved me bundle of costs. He is one talented man and I was very fortunate to have found him. You know, I did alot of homework & research to be able to stay within that budget. Buying smart and did alot of bargaining when purchased the materials. It also helps to be willing to settle for less expensive materials. Yet, the finished look didn't compromised at all. I'm extremely happy to be able to have all that on what I could afford.
