Woohoo! I knew it from when we lived in Hawai'i. We have to import them there, and Canada has as a huge logging industry. Educated guess this time.

Logging has nothing to do with pretty little Christmas trees, just for your interest's sake. Tree farms are very unique. When I had my nursery, we sold cut trees every year...by the tractor trailer loads! I visited the North Carolina farm from where they came and was amazed at the size and scope of the industry!

My first thought was peat moss, but of course the volume was way, way off! I almost guessed Canadian national flags!

I'm going to guess...whole chickens! (I hope that grainlady doesn't see this, tee hee!)

Nah, I just meant, Canada=trees (honey and maple too) in my mind. And it's Christmastime. So Trees+Christmastime=imported Christmas trees. Silly as my mind works, that's how I got there.
