Comments (16)The folks who said to stake the legs down real well are right. Without the stakes, the whole thing can blow over at any time in the future. The idea about horizontal bracing between the legs is also good. You could even use some more bamboo for the braces and lash it on real tight. Braces more rigid than bamboo would probably be best. You simply don't want the flimsy legs flopping around in the wind. I really like the idea about pulling the tension line down from the center. I'm just not sure how much tension on bamboo is good. Comments (24)There is a request above for recipes using hot pepper jelly. Here are a few ideas: 1. Slice boned chicken breast or pork tenderloin into very thin slices. Stir fry quickly in a bit of butter and olive oil. Just before it is cooked through add 2 heaping tablespoons of hot pepper jelly and stir until jelly is melted. Serve by itself or over rice. Delicious! 2. When making a dressing for potato salad or cole slaw add a teaspoon of hot pepper jelly. Try adding 1/2 teaspoon of jelly to french or olive oil/vinegar dressings. 3. When making hot pepper jelly roast the peppers first and remove the pepper skins when they cool. This makes a smoother jelly without tough bits of skin throughout and removes some of the excess water in the peppers that sometimes prevents the jelly from setting....See MoreJelly Bean Feeder

Comments (4)Is it cold near the window? This can happen when a plant gets too cold, maybe freezes. The soil it's in is definitely not good for this kind of plant. You need something that's looser and airier, and dries out really fast. These plants root very easily, so get a new pot and some new soil (try some cactus and succulent soil mixed half & half with perlite ... you can get both at stores like lowe's or home depot) and start over....See Morebernardyjh
