Comments (8)We have been bone dry for months. But, we got a hard heavy rain for about 10 minutes this week that dumped .4 on us. I'll take it. It also came with enough hail to make the ground white. Amarillo, ground white in December, its usually not hail! But, fwiw, it did a fine job of harvesting the rest of my pecan crop. ha ha....See MoreOur Home- Christmas Spirit (Pics)
Comments (17)sharing some stories also...this is our angel's 14th year as tree top, my daughter & her grandpa has been putting the angel since she is 2 yrs, but when her grandpa passed away in the summer of 1999 she refused to put the angel that christmas and the next christmas, but in 2001, she helped her 2yrs old brother to put the angel, and they have been putting it together since then but i always see a blink of sadness on her eyes everytime she does it...remembering her grandpa perhaps. she is 16 yrs now. we often get remarks..oh you should change your tree top it doesnt match, or it goes well with a star, i guess that angel is not going anywhere....See MoreGetting in the Christmas spirit

My gift list is small and going to the bank for crisp new bills finished that off in quick order. I like to keep a coat pocket full of change since I can't pass a SA Kettle without depositing something - it's all a cheery "Merry Christmas" this year; "Happy Holidays went away... not that I'd be offended by either greeting....See MoreThe bad and good re trip and why I'm in the Christmas spirit
Comments (26)Hey pink, the bus driver was cute as a bug and one particular beautiful lead singer, in one of the big shows, found him quite attractive. Long story, but we all got big chuckles over her and her actions just as we boarded the bus to head back to B'ham....See Moreartemis_ma
