They are Limoges porcelain plates....likely about 1880....and if I remember correctly, the Elite porcelain works was one that became part of the Haviland porcelain works. Worth? What someone will pay. Are they "piece of cake" sized?...likely $6 to $8 each...if you can get that. They would look nice hanging on the wall in the bedroom where you put the lamp. Linda c

Yeah, I was thinking that it's low end but it had enough dust and filth on it to be 100 years old, gross! I haven't seen anything like it in my online searches so I couldn't figure out what "style" it was. Thanks for the help guys.

I have a lot of this pattern. It was offered as a premium at Meijer grocery stores in the mid-west in the mid 1980s. I had "earned" a few pieces and then received ones an older relative had after she died. I continued to get more after her death so I'm certain of the time period mine were acquired. I have one serving bowl stored in the original box. It is labeled Sweet Serenade and indicates it is dishwasher safe. However, the colors faded a lot on ones I washed repeatedly in the dishwasher. I kept some unfaded ones that I use only occasionally to remember Grandma. She loved purple and told me she was paying for them and not waiting until she had earned enough premium points to get them for free.

Thank you so much for your sleuthing! I am not sure when or where she got the set. They did live in Europe and also in Panama and South Korea (they were an Army family). She was using it when I was a child in the early seventies. She passed in 2000. I very much doubt it was a knockoff as she was an extremely particular personality who loved her china, silver, and linens. (didn't own any jewelry that wasn't silver or gold. ) I was wondering if the green color may indicate Bavarian make. Some of the Nippon crowns are also similar, but not identical.
