Larry, none of us "advertises" our information in our blurbs at the front of the book. It's information that's for SSE members only. And yes I do have a button about it b'c of someone at another message site who posted very personal information from some of those blurbs publicaly and many many SSE members took him to task about that. There was also an incident where someone selling seeds off a website posted the e-mail and phone number of a listed SSE member and that caused a huge flap with that person and was also reported to SSE as I recall . There have been those non-SSE members who have gotten a hold of older Yearbooks and copied out the information and many of us have been spammed by such individuals for donations, etc. Well I remember those times when I got requests and those requests were for varieties I wasn't even listing in that Yearbook. You might recall that SSE members can only request varieties from the current Yearbook, so I knew those requests were from non-members who found an older yearbook or yearbooks in a Library, or whatever. As for myself, only once have I ever requested a variety for a non-SSE member and I requested it from someone I knew very well and he was OK with it. I didn't even like doing that. The membership monies that SSE receives is one of the most important sources of revenue to SSE that are used to pursue the mission statement of preservation of OP varieties. I know you said you were once a member but I guess not now unless you just rejoined, but membership is up two thousand in the past year or so, which is great. Yet to be addressed is the lowered number of listed members and that is being addressed. Carolyn, who is one of many many SSE members who considers the information she writes in her personal blurb at the front of the book to be private information for the use of SSE members only.

Got 4 plants of these from Hirts via Ebay....plants are growing great and giving a large harvest....I like this variety better than Sungold - prefer the flavor, and doesn't crack after rain like Sungold (I have these growing too). Growing in 7-8 gallon self-watering containers with tall small Texas Tomato Cages with Extensions. very productive...wife loves them.... at least I think they are Warren's, since Hirts advertises seeds for Warren's but just called these plants "Tasty Yellow Cherry" which they certainly are. no fungus problems... Wow, thanks for all the replies folks. I had the feeling that it would be the size of the pot causing the problem. Unfortunately, that little 'balcony' is my only place to keep a plant so I'll just have to keep them out there for the season and see how they get on. Next season I'll think of a more creative way to keep a larger pot. The fertilizer I'm using unfortunately doesn't say the percentages of its contents. It is a 'universal' organic fruit and vegetable fertilizer. Thanks for all the thoughtful replies! Kolin

Another vote for AZOYCHKA> It is early/mid , very productive , good balanced taste. I have also grown pineapple. I likes it but it was on the late side for me. There are so many yellow/orange/gold varieties. How about Russian Orange ? It seems to be very popular. But it is said to have 90+ DTM.(red light !) I am also going to grow another Russian yellow: SAKHARNYI ZHELTYI. for the first time. It is supposed to be sweet and mid season. Some people swear by KB and KBX. I grew KB in 2015. Very lazy producer. So my biggest find is Azoychka so far. Sey
