Comments (6)Hi bigbloomer, I too am sorry that your trading experience did not go well. I too suggest that you start do a Member Review at The Rate and Review Forum The member does not have an existing one, so just start a thread with their name (only) in the Subject of Posting line, and then give the facts. That will maybe save someone in the future from getting taken. btw...you don't have an email link on your Member Page, nor does that member that replied offering to trade. I 'require' members have an email link, or else I won't consider doing a trade. I also do not respond to trade offers that do not have their location in their Member Profile, so it is shown on their Member Page. Please see addressing newbie and newer member issues for instructions on getting your Member Page email link set up as well as your location so it will be shown on your Member Page and automatically be shown whenever you post. I doubt if you will see this, unless you happen to be lurking here as you did not check the box when you originally posted to have the follow-up replies emailed to you. Again...sorry to hear of your bad experience. I see you have several nice seeds listed as available for trade. Maybe it would be fun to try your hand doing some seed trading over at The Seed Exchange hth. Sue...See Morebuddhas hand citrus seed
Comments (5)www.briteleaf.com and www.harriscitrus.com sell BH..And they're grafted. Forget logees. I once ordered a variegaetd lemon and what I got was a 2-3" lemon seedling. Never again. I learned my lesson. Cowboyman sells better plants, but take their time in shipping..I've been waiting for 3 shipments of plants (NOT citrus) over 3 wks w/o an email from them. Plus their paying system isn't working right..when I write them they never return emails.. I don't know what they're doing, if they're busy or what, but they're sure taking their time..and it seems like they don't care about customers. I only wrote one letter so it's not like I'm pestering them. Toni...See MoreBuddha's Hand Citrus
Comments (4)Way COOL Amy, Try the citrus forum if you don't have any luck here. I know I've seen it mentioned many times over there. On our forum there's a guy from Charleston, SC that raises a lot of citrus. He brought me a calamondin citrus to our Raleigh swap one year... Ummm... Cactusrequim is his GW name. He just hosted the plant swap in Charleston on the exchange page, in case I messed the spelling of it up. Good Luck with it! So far I have Keylime, Calamondin, unkwn lemon and an unkwn orange. The orange was a gift from my kids several years ago. A friend of one of them had picked it up from the airport on a trip to FL, it had all of about 2 little leaves and might have been 2 inches tall, now it's about 2 feet tall and growing fast. I was concerned I'd kill it since it was so tiny. Don't know what kind it is or if it'll ever fruit, but being as it's from my kids it has a special place. Even though I had others before, raising that one taught me citrus is a lot tougher then we tend to think. Oh and I feed mine an actual citrus fertilizer (hard to find) or fertilizer for acid loving plants. There are extra minerals it needs in the citrus formulas. I think I found mine while at the coast....See Morecitrus medica: Buddha's Hand
Comments (0)Hello: Please forgive if I'm posting in the wrong forum. Has anyone got some Buddha's Hand (cuttings or plant) for me to purchase or trade for postage? The large established plants online are a little too pricey (esp. with the shipping)for my budget. So I am hoping to start small and would appreciate anyone's sharing a piece with me.
