zone 9 and baby roses in containers for the winter

I have several 1 and 2 gallon size roses that are new this year. I am in a zone 9a and the lowest winter temps are in the low to mid 20's F but usually they bounce around freezing maybe 10 times during the winter but go back up into the 60s or higher during the day.
I was planning on potting up all the smaller roses into 3 gallon size and just leaving them OUT of my greenhouse for the winter. Will they be okay that way?
Will the little ones freeze? I do have some that are tea roses ..so a little more tender than others.
My greenhouse is usually full of my tropical plants that can't take under 50F so I don't want to put anything in there that doesn't need to be to save on space lol.
