Anyone use a Luxmeter phone app? Suggestions?

Might be a weird place to ask this but someone suggested getting a Luxmeter app on my phone in order to make sure my AV's aren't getting too much light. Problem is, almost all the luxmeter apps I can find are $2 and I can't buy up a bunch of apps to try them all.

Right now I've got one called MQ Greenthumb, which is a luxmeter that supposedly will tell you what plants survive in footcandle readings. But I can't tell if the readings are accurate. It doesn't seem to pick up my grow light very well and it's only reading about 10fc in my room.... I dont now anything about light levels but that number seems absurdly low..

Anyone use an app that can suggest a reliable one?

The app I use is called "Lux - Professional Light Meter for Film Photography" by Avicora. Best part about it? It's free! I don't know much about light levels either, and I have nothing to base it on - so I have no idea how accurate it is. I don't use it too often either, since I typically keep my plants in the garden window (it hasn't gotten chilly here yet, so I haven't set up grow lights and a comfy place for them to stay this winter).

How do you read this for plant care? I know what all the numbers up top (ISO, focal ratio, shutter speed) but I'm not sure how to read this in regards to plant light levels.
