Comments (6)This weekend part of the pack of hounds went somewhat off course. I went to try to help and when I got there they had got most of the pack back together, but had to trot up the road for a way to get to a safe location hang out waiting for other hounds to re-appear. They did have a "road whip" driving along behind them with its emergency blinkers on to ensure no cars came racing up behind. It's unusual for the hounds to cross a road since foxes usually circle around within their territory. Someone thought the hounds were on the scent of a coyote, which run more in a straight line. In any case, luckily none of the hounds were lost or injured....See MoreI'll Show You Mine if You Show Me Yours Mon Nov 23
Comments (8)Yes, that is the ship that we were on earlier this month. If you look above the row of life boats (orange covers) everything above that line are balcony cabins. Also balcony cabins (5 decks) at the stern. Above those cabins there is a open deck and a small pool, of course with a bar. In the center of the ship, a large pool (bar and Mexican buffet) with a retractable cover. At the highest point at the front of the ship is another open deck (with a wind screen to protect while under way) and beneath that is "The Crow's Nest" with a great coffee bar, library, dance floor and lots of chairs for reading and relaxing. A closer view of some of the balcony cabins....See MoreI'll Show You Mine if You Show Me Yours Mon Nov 07
Comments (17)On Sunday the Hunt Club held a "Hunter Pace" which is a timed trail ride on a marked course in small groups. The weather and the views were absolutely beautiful. After that they hosted the Virginia Field Hunter Championship, a judged mock hunt (no huntsman, no hounds and no foxes) going out over much of the same land, in a big group, with judges riding along determining which rider and horse have the best form....See MoreI'll Show You Mine if You Show Me Yours Mon Nov 14
Comments (6)Beautiful, Casey! The colors are so warm. I love it. Gazania, that must have been a fun puzzle to do. You are the Queen of Puzzlers!! So my picture is from a visit to San Juan Capistrano Mission. There is a large cement pond with carp and water lilies that is just amazing! First is a photo I took there. The second is a mosaic glass piece that I did trying to make it look like a water lily. I'm still not sure I succeeded on that one. :)...See More- 10 years ago
