The plan you have right now is fine but realize that if you ever go to a washer FL you will need to switch the washer and dryer. While most dryer doors can switch to hinge on either the left or right (but be sure to check your machine), no FL washer can be hinged on the right. Only the left. Ditch the door from the pantry. Remember the pantry is smaller now. You don't want to give up another 30" for a door. I might consider flipping the laundry room and the closet outside of it. Why? I'm not sure you'll want your plumbing in the same wall that backs your pantry?

Having baskets up there would allow us to use the whole depth. And then could put cabinets under the machines. hmm....

For a laundry room, I'd like the above large floral wallpaper! You say you can't spend much on wallpaper ... have you ever tried stenciling? I personally love it, and it's so much cheaper than wallpaper. It takes FOREVER to do the painting, but it's not at all difficult. The big secret is wiping away most of the paint from the brush. @bpath All good questions. thank you. •The fridge door, including meat and produce bins, open all the way (no issues there) •I envision this room being able to have dirty clothes (in the laundry basket, clean, clothes (basically my new folding station) •the deep cabinet would house my dog food, vacuum, laundry detergent, paper towels, cleaning supplies. Unfortunately, I do not have a steam mop (something on my radar, though), and no need for an ironing board. •I’m not sure what I would put on top of the shelf above the fridge, but I figured it would be better not to waste the space. Perhaps I’m overthinking it? •If it were possible, I wouldn’t mind adding cabinets to the ceiling on the same side of the washer and dryer, and I could store some of my fall decorations in there. •I'm not sure if you can tell from the pictures, but I also had to remove my door since it swings in and I was losing space. The plan is to buy two small barn doors. Once we can nail down a design, the fun stuff happens (wallpaper, countertop, paint, roman shade :) If you can't tell I'm having difficulty visualizing the space because of the angled walls and fridge, which is why I’m asking for help. thanks for the feedback
