Easy Bread

1. In a large bowl, whisk together

2 1/2 c of hot water 1/3 c of oil (I use olive oil)

1/3 c honey 1T of salt

2. Add 3/4 c of flour & whisk for 30 seconds

3. Add 1 1/2 T of yeast and whisk for 30 seconds

4. Add 2 c of flour & mix together with a spoon

*If you are using a mixer, add the rest of the flour (the total amt. of flour added should be 5-7c. Not including the flour used in step 2)

Let the mixer knead the dough for about 5 min.

*If mixing by hand, add the rest of the flour & mix until shaggy looking and hard to work with the spoon.

Knead for 5 min. The dough should be soft but not sticky.

5. Let rise in a greased, covered bowl for about 30 min.

When dough is risen heat oven to 175°F

6.Grease your bread pans & divide the dough in 2

On the counter, roll your dough out into an oblong shape, pushing out the air bubbles

Roll into a tight cylinder, tuck the ends under & place into the pan

Place loaves into the oven for about 30 min. or until the dough has risen to fill the pans.

Turn oven up to 350°F & cook for about another 30 min. Bread is done when it sounds hollow when tapped.
