Unfinished recessed medicine cabinets
Comments (4)I actually built a medicine cabinet using a Kreg Jig to make the box. I needed one to fit a specific recess in the wall. It's pretty trivial, anybody with a slight amount of woodworking can do it. For the door I just used a framed mirror we got from Lowes (this is what started the project, it had to match the "furniture style" vanity my wife had purchased. I mounted it on drawer slides so the mirror slid to the left to reveal the cabinet....See MoreRound Recessed Medicine Cabinet

Comments (4)I looked at the cabinet spec and the attachment point are on the front end of the cabinet box, so you would have to make your own holes in the back to attach the cabinet and be sure that the material will hold the weight of the box + mirrored door. Also the mirrored door is 8" larger overall than the box, so how do you plan on disguising that? I would sell the mirror and buy one designed for the way you want to use it. Any hacks will probably end up costing way more than just buying a new medicine cabinet....See MoreRecessed medicine cabinet size for 72 in vanity
