Would you prefer rustic or painted outdoor candleholders?
Comments (2)Both designs seem appealing to me. I am having trouble telling which ones are painted and which are rustic. For the base, I prefer the top look with the solid, rusty-looking design. I love the cup type holders on the bottom set. If you are making photos to sell these items, try replacing those red candles with amber or brown and see if you like the look better.... I can just see some of those small 3-tone candles in shades of tan and rust and brown in there!! Laura...See MoreNeed your vote: where would you prefer the laundry?
Comments (49)nosoccermom, I would love to have my laundry in a basement again, because of peace and quiet, and out of sight. I would love to have it there, so that I could have canvas hampers for different loads of laundry and have them out of sight, and I have several things, that I dont put in the dryer, that I put on a clothes drying rack, and I hate having to set it up in the laundry room. My laundry room is quite large, and is actually a mud room/laundry combination. My back door opens up into it, and there is full bath at the other end of it. Also, in our last house, I had a drain hose pop out and flood the entire laundry room, and part of my hallway, so would love to have the washer and dryer in a basement, next to a floor drain. This house and my last house are the only 2 houses, I have ever lived in, that didnt have a basement laundry, and it is the one thing, I miss the most....See MoreWould you rather have...
Comments (27)We use our extra sink in our only bath to hold dirty socks for the most part! Really, it is never used as a sink but makes a good area to hold things, so it ends up being used for laundry. I would rather use DH's nasty sink he shaves in so that I can clean it as part of my tooth-brushing routine. After spitting and rinsing my brush, I take out my handy little cleaning brush and scrub the sink and give the faucet and handles a polish. Then I wipe any drips off the counter just before I walk out of the room and the bathroom is ready to face another day! It is our only full bathroom, not a private retreat where I could leave "his sink" yucky until he decides to clean it. He does a pretty good job of washing whiskers away!...See Morewhen buying a home, which HVAC would you choose?
Comments (25)flo, without the right information, photos and descriptions on your publicized listing entry, many buyers wouldn't have bothered coming to see what you had posted on-site for visitors. If you didn't feel you could rely on your agent, you chose the wrong agent. That's who's in the best position to do the marketing of the house, not the owner. There's a line of thinking that the a potential buyer or a buyer and the seller shouldn't meet or if so, only briefly, until a contract is signed and all contingencies have been cleared. Nor communicate with one another until then. If the agent isn't handling all those important steps effectively and professionally, what are they being paid to do?...See MoreUser
