If DD doesn't have room for them but she wants you to keep them, can she pay for the storage space? (and arrange it, too!) I have so many pictures of my own that I have actually stopped TAKING them. I think I should take them more, but since every one I *have* taken is still in the little paper envelope and stuffed into a box or on a shelf, I just can't see the point anymore. It's sort of depressing. And I'd tackle them, but that means a big upheaval, and there are other more important things to deal w/ now. I's frustrating, isn't it, when people think *you*, bcs you're the mom or the one w/ the house, or whatever, insist YOU should keep stuff THEY want? Honestly, someone's willingness to bother is evidence of how much they REALLY care. If DD or DM REALLY want those photos, they'll find a way to store them. If they're not willing to stuff them under their bed, or line THEIR living room w/ them, then honestly they don't REALLY want them. So don't have any guilt at telling them they've got 2 months to get the ones they want, and then you're throwing them out or giiving them back or dropping them off, whichever. Good luck!

The label thingys are from a company in Australia that supplies chain stores. Some of the "IDs" are a bit suspect though.... This long leaf one do you mean? Apparently it's meliflua. This thing get's seriously long heavy leaves! I've only had this one for about 4 months. It's grown such a long vine. Will have to see how it goes in Winter. wait, is fraterna a type of meliflua?

I made some thin pottery circles, using cookie cutters and stamping, for use as picture frame ornaments. Rather like a wreath. Shaped like a donut with the center open. I don’t know how to put a photo in, though. To use glue would look tacky. Commercial picture frame ornaments have a backing and usually 2 little tabs that swivel on a tiny screw: which concept doesn’t work for pottery. People need to be able to choose which of their own photos to put in, anyway. Anyone have a suggestion? I made a bunch and can’t give them as gifts until I figure this out! Thanks.

Perhaps this is another opportunity to laud the Rose Forum of the National Garden Association where many of us have joined (Jeri, Lisa, Nippstress, MustbNuts, Christopher and many more whose names escape me at the moment. It's a very friendly and easy to use forum, pictures are easy to load and there are no ads! You can be from overseas also, Marlorena, so I hope everyone has a look-in to decide whether they might decide to join. Anything new is never comfortable right away, and this has been my home for so long that I'm really sorry to part ways. I'm still going to answer posts here but I don't think I'll ever start a new post. Houzz has just worn me down with their ineptitude and lack of genuine concern for the gardenweb users, but it's difficult to wrench myself away. Perhaps it will be easier if I meet more of you over there!
