Comments (103)msdorkgirl, After thinking about it for awhile it would be very hard to buy the same rose bush for all of us since our climates & BS pressure differ so much. I also can't plant a rose bush at this time of the year. Plus I need to see if the newer roses I bought & planted the past 2 years are going to even be ok for my conditions... I'm going to slow down until I know all is stable here... Probably only getting One rose next year but its known to do well here... (My friend has it...) That Lupine is awesome Sam! :-)...See MoreRoses & Stuff #14 (Oct Madness 2015)

High phosphorus shift blooms to the red-zone, that's why Cantigny rose park's Carding Mill is pink, while mine is light apricot. The rose park uses a high-phosphorus fertilizer, which gave red-splotchy dots on their Double-Delight. Jim: Time for a new thread, I switched to Windows 10, and it's easier to see with shorter thread. thanks....See MoreLily Bulb sale at Chicago Botanic Garden! Oct 17-18, 2015

It was great to meet a few of the members and get some advice - and free seeds - on how best to grow lilies. If you're in the Glencoe area, definitely check out the bulb sale and consider becoming a member....See Moreracetowin
