Blue PVC box in exterior brick - What wall-mount weight can it support

Hi everyone, wasn't sure whether to post in "lighting" or "electrical wiring"...

So I have removed our old wall-mount lanterns from either side of the
front entrance of our home, to discover the outlet boxes are of the blue
PVC variety, mounted horizontally in brick/mortar.

I don't know the weight of the old fixtures, which must have been
original to the home (they match many neighbors) so about 24 years old.
They didn't weigh much, but I already chucked them in the dumpster and
the dumpster is gone.

The retailer lists the new lights as weighing 26lbs, which seems right
(the manufacturer lists 12lbs but the boxes are much heavier).

My concern is that these old blue PVC boxes will not support the weight
of our (expensive in my opinion) new lights. I cannot even use the
fixed crossbar supplied with the lights because the only two mounting
holes in the blue boxes are horizontal, just like the holes in the
fixtures. I'd have to use the adjustable swivel-type crossbar as a
horizontal bar.

I'll attach a photo. I cannot find this info online and have been
looking all morning. I'm not sure these boxes were meant to hold more
than a cover plate, but there must be some spec or code as there's one
for everything.

Thanks.
