that needs a pot twice that size or it will fall over when it blooms , if you repot it and keep it in the shade and well watered for a few days it will be fine , I like to put some lava rock on thw bottom of the pot to help drainage and use good soil and add some slow release fertilizer ti the soil , if you have well drained soil you can go 1 size larger than normal so it will not need to be repotted again for a while

are the roots twisting round and round??? i think it can be done .... you need a good new media for a tree ... you would do it all.. unwinding the roots.. etc ... and then place it in full shade for a couple months .. maybe the whole hot season ... after it settles down ... the greenery can be in sun ... but not the pot.. as it has to potential to get too hot ... small plants are much more malleable .. than huge ones.. in this regard ... if this is some expensive or valuable plant .... i might do things differently ... ken

I was sure I responded to this! Yes you can repot now or wait until next Spring. The mix looks fresh and the plant looks happy. Just watch the high heat and humidity. They like damp feet and cool air. Mine did better indoors. Jane
