Hi, i think i could try to provide you with a cutting of my new jersey tea for the sucker of passiflora lutea. my plants are rather young but are growing quickly and happily-would you suggest making a cutting off of one knowing that information? do i need to do the cutting now and set it in water for it to root first? what do you suggest? I am also new to the live plant swap/seed swap. yes. they are perishable and should be planted as soon as the pods open and release them. if allowed to fall naturally, they will sprout and send the root down the same year.

I planted a bunch of red buckeye in containers this spring. The ones that did not germinate were soft and sort of rotten inside when I checked them out. If I were you, I would dig one up and give it a good squeeze/pinch. if it feels soft at all, cut it open and see what the innards look like. If it is mush, the others likely are also. I would think that viable seeds would have germinated already if conditions were favorable.
