Hi, i think i could try to provide you with a cutting of my new jersey tea for the sucker of passiflora lutea. my plants are rather young but are growing quickly and happily-would you suggest making a cutting off of one knowing that information? do i need to do the cutting now and set it in water for it to root first? what do you suggest? I am also new to the live plant swap/seed swap. They should have emerged as a palmate group of 5 leaves, a perfect miniature of the adult leaves. Perhaps even a pair of palmate leaves (it's been a while since mine emerged this year). This is a more mature picture, but the concept is the same. Here is a link that might be useful:

Plants for a Future Database: Aesculus parviflora - Seed - best sown outdoors or in a cold frame as soon as it is ripe. The seed germinates almost immediately and must be given protection from severe weather. The seed has a very limited viability and must not be allowed to dry out. Stored seed should be soaked for 24 hours prior to sowing and even after this may still not be viable. It is best to sow the seed with its 'scar' downwards. If sowing the seed in a cold frame, pot up the seedlings in early spring and plant them out into their permanent positions in summer.
